For the first time ever, I find myself excited to start Monday mornings. The leadership at this program are geniuses at coaching each resident’s strengths, while keeping us feeling safe and comfortable to practice our own individual styles. It’s like a championship-level Olympics team and family all in one.
About Me:
Born and raised in Venezuela. I graduated from the Universidad Central de Venezuela and came to New York to follow my dreams and pursue psychiatry. I am also here to pet the dogs. All the dogs!

Bronxcare quickly became a second home for me. You feel incredibly supported by a family of residents and attendings, and you get exposure to a wide variety of pathologies
About Me:
Can be found in the hospital, on the mountains or watching the Raptors. Especially interested in the intersection of adolescent psychiatry and global mental health
Why I love Bronxcare:
The opportunity to work at a program that gives us the privilege to serve the most vulnerable and underserved population of NYC; allowing a great opportunity to train and be exposed to an array of different psychopathology. All that while working in one of the most multidisciplinary fields with a strong sense of commitment across the board.
About Me:
I Graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria, I am A mother of 3 amazing kids, I love to travel and spend time looking for cool places to try new food.

I love Bronxcare because they loved me first.It’s a place I am comfortable and happy to come in to work everyday, everyone is so supportive and kind.! Dr Korenis , Dr Gunturu was love at first sight. And Noemi is amazing at taking Care of residents needs.The residents are the perfect blend, always finding fun things to do and my class mates are the best . Bronxcare is a rare find!
About Me:
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, graduated from AUA medical school in 2020. I moved to NYC in 2018 for clinicals, I am a cat mommy to 2 cats but really I’m a dog person, funny no?

The program is AMAZING!! that’s the only fitting word for it. As soon as you’re in, everyone makes you feel welcomed and part of the family.
About Me:
From Glendale, CA living in NYC since 2017. I like food and thinking about food, specifically food without meat in it. I love my job, can’t believe I get paid to do this
